About The Position

We are seeking a skilled LAN Administrator to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support and administration, with expertise in troubleshooting, imaging, and configuring workstations. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The position includes an on-call rotation and requires local candidates only.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Desktop Technician/Administrator.
• Proficiency in Windows 11, Office365 products, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Experience with imaging via SCCM and troubleshooting imaging issues.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency (required).

Nice To Haves

• Preference for candidates with experience as a LAN Administrator in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop support and administration, including troubleshooting and resolving imaging issues for PCs, laptops, tough books, and tablets.
• Configure and test client workstations for VPN access using secure token identification.
• Install and configure software, hardware, and operating systems, including Windows 11 and Office365 products.
• Support connectivity requirements such as Ethernet and TCP/IP.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot computer issues, including imaging via SCCM and handling large volumes of imaging requests.
• Support cell phones, iPads, HP printers, and OCE plotters as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing issues promptly and keeping clients informed.
• Manage workload effectively by prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing situations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure productivity and minimize downtime.
