About The Position

The Laminator Operator position at Printpack's manufacturing plant in Rhinelander, WI involves operating lamination machines on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Laminator Operator/Assistant preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety while assisting in machine operations.
• Prepare printed rolls for lamination (primary unwind).
• Prepare back stock rolls for lamination (secondary unwind).
• Place rolls in the machine and prepare for splicing (both unwinds).
• Assist in removing rolls from rewind.
• Remove and weigh startup rolls at the beginning of the job.
• Clean NIP roll in the machine during setup and downtime to prepare for startup.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks.
• Remove and weigh waste from all unwinds or rewind, if necessary.
• Work effectively with the Laminator Operator to reach the operator's goals.
• Keep primary and secondary unwinds stocked and flowing in.
• Maintain adhesive and cold seal wet materials.
• Collaborate with the operator for maximum changeover effectiveness.
