About The Position

SEKISUI Aerospace is currently accepting applications for an upcoming first shift Laminator I position at their Sumner location. The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI). Requirements

Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps.
Acute attention to detail.
Excellent hand eye coordination.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of process specifications.
Basic math skills.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in composite manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and SWI instructions; wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
