Job Description JOB TITLE: Production Operator DEPARTMENT: Lamination REPORTS TO: Lamination Area Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Operate Lamination equipment safely; ensure products are within customer specifications prior to shipment. Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write and understand instructions and customer specifications.
  • Must have or be capable of SDS Awareness.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience within Armacell is highly preferred.
  • It would take approximately one month to become familiar with all the processes and equipment used on this job to become fully competent.
  • Experience in production environment is preferable.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to read, write and understand customer specifications in English is a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Stage and Identify rolls of product
  • Use various measuring equipment
  • Order product from Distribution Center for processing
  • Ensure internal and external specifications are met
  • Package product from initial phase to completed end product
  • Understand and implement the weekly schedule and the 24 hour plan
  • Frequent quality checks of material (visual checks, AIMS, QMS, etc)
