Location: Virginia Beach, VA, 23320 Pay range: $ 60,000 - $75,000

Requirements

At least one year of former field experience (Lake/Pond Maintenance, Construction, or Landscaping).
Excellent managerial capabilities and current experience in a leadership role.
Highly organized with great attention to detail.
Great communication skills and ability to interact with multiple audiences, including the Operations Team, Client Service Managers, clients, subcontractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
Adapt and/or improvise quickly, as demanded by conditions or unknown factors.
Capability to work under pressure.
Good teamwork.
Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis.
Aptitude to work outside for long periods of time in unfavorable conditions.
Willingness to travel to assist other branches with notice.
Systems-oriented.
Results-driven.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations for maintenance and mowing services, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with client contracts.
Lead and manage field crews, including scheduling, routing, quality control, and performance evaluations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices across all maintenance activities.
Train new and existing employees on equipment use, safety procedures, plant identification, and technical skills.
Maintain equipment and vehicles, managing inventory and ensuring functionality.
Conduct regular site visits and quality assessments to ensure service standards and compliance requirements are met.
Support business growth by identifying opportunities and assisting with estimates, staffing, and client communication.
Collaborate with HR and leadership on hiring, onboarding, and certification requirements.
