Requirements

  • Ability to conduct all conformance testing of Level 4 Process Quality Technician, e.g. laser mike, dielectric tester, dissipation pot, Tg tester, Tinius Olsen, manual elongator, Techrand tester, and other equipment as specified.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet core requirements in testing knowledge, ability, and competency.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics as defined by department supervisor and/or manager.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work with all levels of people in achievement of plant objectives.
  • Understanding of key problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to conduct effective audits.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of oven enamel process.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
  • Certifications for forklift and ability to operate hand-truck and hoists.
  • Understanding of basic IATF requirements and Automotive requirements
  • ASQ-Certified Quality Technician
  • ASQ-Certified Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

  • Test product per required standards.
  • Perform process and product audits.
  • Process and document product in material review area.
  • Provide technical support to operations proactively and as needed.
  • Provides conformance testing and process audits/validation activities.
  • Works with other departments, (Scheduling, CSR’s, Operations, and Distributions), in completing tasks.
  • Involvement and completion of projects as assigned.
