This role strengthens care quality through interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence‑based guidance, and the development of specialized programs that enhance breastfeeding support across the continuum of care. Requirements

  • Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse License required
  • Certified Lactation Counselor or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
  • Register with the NM Board of Nursing Lactation Care Providers.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS
