About The Position

Description Work Schedule: 5% FTE, 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:30pm-7:00am, You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St. Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $4/ hr evening, $5 hr night, and $4.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked. Required Experience in patient education. Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience Licenses & Certifications Current Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Department of Professional Registration. Required Certification in lactation education preferred or must obtain with 18 months of assuming the position. Required Bi-annual BLS certification. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
  • Experience in patient education.
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Department of Professional Registration.
  • Certification in lactation education preferred or must obtain with 18 months of assuming the position.
  • Bi-annual BLS certification.
