About The Position

The Lactation Consultant provides specialized breastfeeding support, education, and counseling to patients and families within USF Health OB/GYN clinics and affiliated Tampa General Hospital sites. This role promotes evidence-based lactation practices, assists with complex feeding concerns, and collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff to improve maternal–infant health outcomes.

Requirements

• Certification as a Lactation Consultant.
• Experience in providing lactation support in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.
