Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
- NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Currently certified as a Lactation Consultant
- Previous experience in maternal-child health nursing
Nice To Haves
- 5 years of experience in lactation consulting
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing lactation management services to expectant and new parents.
- These functions are performed in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
