The minimum commitment of hours for this position is 48 hours within a six-week scheduling period including one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month and rotating holidays required. The hours per scheduled day will vary depending on the needs of the department. This position will also assist with seeing patients at the outpatient clinic onsite, participate with facilitating our breastfeeding classes at least three times a year and weekly community support group as needed. The Lactation Consultant RN reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
