About The Position

The Lactation Consultant provides clinical care, support and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies. The Lactation Consultant will also provide consultative support and education to nursing and medical staff and community breastfeeding support groups.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse Required
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Required - Within 1 Year of Hire
• Graduate Nursing Required
• College Courses Nursing Required - With Required Licensure/Certification

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
• 2 Years Clinical - Breastfeeding Required
• Education - Teaching and Facilitation of Learning Required

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and support to breastfeeding mothers and their babies.
