About The Position

Extra-curricular activities are a valuable extension of the student experience. As an Assistant Lacrosse Coach, you will inspire, motivate, and teach students specific lacrosse skills, while fostering positive character development and building strong relationships with athletes both on and off the field.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for coaching and teaching lacrosse.
• Knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies.
• A Four-Year College Degree OR
• Serving as an Approved Assistant Coach (non-Hardship Coach) for a minimum of TWO school years.
• FHSD Certified Employees
• FHSD Non-Certified Employees
• Qualified External Candidates

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing team practices and drills.
• Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on skill development and technique.
• Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics, strategy, and game plans.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship within the team.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and games.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.
