Primary Responsibility / Summary Operates a bobtail truck to transport goods between retail locations and designated facilities. Responsible for safely loading, securing, and unloading merchandise with minimal assistance. Maintains a high level of safety awareness, service excellence, and route efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conducts daily vehicle inspections and completes pre- and post-trip reports using the Geotab app on a company-issued phone. Follows all company safety protocols and complies with Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) regulations; promptly reports unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Loads, secures, and unloads goods in accordance with the daily Route Manifest provided by the Dispatcher, Lead, or Supervisor. Completes all scheduled stops efficiently, with an average unload/reload time of 30-40 minutes per location. Ensures all route-related documentation is completed accurately, including manifests and supply records; takes and submits required photographs for verification. Demonstrates a professional and courteous attitude at all times; maintains a clean, well-groomed appearance and wears company-issued uniform gear (vest, gloves, and safety shoes). Operates truck and equipment safely and efficiently following company policies and procedures, observing all posted road signs, traffic laws, and speed limits. Maintains a valid California driver's license and an acceptable driving record that meets company insurance requirements. Physically able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet (standing/walking) for up to 8 hours per shift.
