About The Position

We recruit highly skilled individuals for a variety of disciplines in the construction field. A skilled craft worker is an essential cog in the wheel of any Superior Construction project. Qualified applicants will have experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway, or Bridge Projects. Applicant must be familiar with working from heights and/or Manlifts. Your role within the company will include participation in site safety, protection of the environment, and construction of exciting and challenging projects.

Requirements

• Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment
• Must be reliable/have reliable transportation
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Construction industry experience preferred
• Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects.
• Maintains a clean and well-organized job site: properly store consumable materials, picks up debris and waste for proper disposal, maintains equipment appearance and secures/stores small tools and supplies.
• Performs materials handling and storage.
• Road widening, highway, road/street or bridge build and rehabilitation projects.
• Helping Foremen and other Supervisors as needed.
• Laborers may be required to assist with traffic control and/or flagging operations.
• Properly secure and store all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each work day
• Understand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries.
