About The Position

General Laborer- Fabrication Shop Come join a global leader in pipe joining solutions! Expectations: The General Laborer will support daily operations in the fabrication shop, assisting with material handling, shop maintenance, and general tasks while operating machinery such as rollers and cutting machines. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Training will be provided for machine operation as needed. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in material handling, loading/unloading raw materials using overhead cranes or lifting equipment. Support machine operators by preparing materials, staging workpieces, and maintaining workflow. Operate machinery, such as rollers and CNC plasma/oxy-fuel cutting machines, as directed. Perform general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areas. Conduct basic inspections of parts to ensure quality and accuracy. Assist in routine equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues. Follow safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or shop managers. EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENT: Good verbal and written communication skills Able to safely operate hand and power tools Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Able to read blueprints is a plus Bilingual is a plus Applicants will be required to pass a background check.
