About The Position

The Laborer assists in ensuring the facility site is kept clean both during and after projects. Additionally, this position would be responsible for assisting equipment operators at the facility and carrying out any physical activities required.

Requirements

Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
Comfortable working in high stress environment with extreme weather conditions
Ability to climb ladders and navigate heights
Lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds and navigate construction job site terrain
Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
No minimum education requirement
No prior experience or training required
Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
Prolong standing or in stationary position
Complete repetitive movements
Bend and/or twist
Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)

Responsibilities

Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures
Operate heavy machinery, including construction vehicles
Perform set-up and clean-up tasks at job site; includes sweeping, shoveling, raking and cleaning equipment using a pressure washer
Perform general maintenance of construction equipment
Assist in loading and unload of equipment and materials
Spotting for equipment operators
Provide labor support as needed
Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
