About The Position

Performs miscellaneous tasks requiring hand labor for the development and maintenance of tribal land and structures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No additional experience required.
• A valid driver's license or commercial driver's license (class A) with tanker endorsement may be required by department.
• The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
