About This Role Our Laborers work primarily on our jobsites to fill gaps between subcontractor trades and keep our projects moving safely, on-time and on-budget. Hours are usually 7am-4pm (M-F), 40-hours per week. Overtime is available, and some weekend work may be required.

Requirements

1-2 years’ hands-on experience in residential construction.
Comfortable working with hand and power tools
Experience working with and interpreting blueprints
Strong work ethic, reliability and dependability
Ability to work with a team or independently
Basic but effective communication skills required
Regular travel between job sites within a 5-mile radius of Bellevue and Kirkland
Valid WA State driver’s license, an acceptable driving record and proof of vehicle insurance are required

Nice To Haves

Carpentry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Observe all safety requirements on job sites, and actively seek to correct or report safety hazards or infractions
Operate a variety of tools safely, including but not limited to: skill saw, drill, nail gun
Moving, securing, installing, building, and loading or unloading construction materials
Assisting in the building or construction of various objects
Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
Moving dirt or other material as directed in plans or by the Project Manager
Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the Project Manager
Maintain a clean job site
Perform other duties as assigned
