LABORER (6) Temporary Full Time Position 4/1/26-11/30/2026, Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding,and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. DAILY TRAVEL TO VARIOUS JOB SITES LOCATED IN Shawnee, Jefferson, counties in Kansas ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS, SOME OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. 8 HOUR WORKDAY.HOURS VARY BUT WITHIN 7:00AM-7:00PM. 8 HOURS PER DAY. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsidence (including meals &, to the extent necessary lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or if employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursementwill be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Employer agrees to offer work for at least ¾ of the work days in each 12 week period of total employment period.Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per /day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 p/day with receipts.
