Requirements

Performs essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing threat of harm to self or others.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails. Ability to write simple correspondence and emails.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to apply understanding to carrying out simple one-or-two step instructions.
Commits to and meets all scheduled attendance and production deadlines.
At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Champions “The Layton Way” by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
Ensures that “Constructing with Integrity” is delivered by working with honesty, unity, safety, and quality of work.
Provide support to other craft workers on project site of structural construction, heavy concrete construction, demolition, and framing.
Maintain clean and safe work areas (sweep debris, gather and discard trash, scrap iron and wood, remove snow and ice).
Identify hazards associated with task assignments and ask questions when clarification is needed.
Load/unload materials as needed.
Have minimum tools associated with trade.
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety.
