About The Position

The Laborer position involves coordinating and assisting Apprentice Plumbers and Plumbers in maintaining, repairing, and installing various plumbing equipment, domestic water systems, sewer systems, and related devices. The role requires performing essential duties such as preparing sites for construction work, cleaning debris and hazardous materials, digging trenches, pouring concrete, and transporting materials and equipment on site. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year of construction experience, preferably in plumbing
• OSHA 10-hour certificate would be helpful
• First aid certificate would be helpful

Responsibilities

• Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures
• Clean debris, trash, and hazardous materials on site
• Dig trenches and pour concrete as instructed
• Assist in installing sewerage pipes and drains
• Transport materials and equipment from one place to another on site
• Clean and maintain tools
• Align components according to blueprints
• Load and unload equipment from trucks
