About The Position

Nutrition 101 is an industry leader in recovering food waste and converting it into valuable livestock feed. Based in Pendleton, Indiana, our team helps food processors reduce waste while supporting sustainable agriculture. Every year, our work helps recover millions of tons of food byproducts and transform them into useful products for livestock producers. We are growing and looking for dependable team members who enjoy hands-on work and learning specialized repair skills. As a Plastic Repair Technician, you will repair and restore plastic containers such as totes and drums used in production operations. Excellent opportunities available for growth/advancement!

Requirements

• Experience with welding, plastic repair, or similar hands-on work preferred
• Willingness to learn plastic welding techniques and repair processes
• Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely
• Computer knowledge; ability to use tablets and Excel spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damage or defects
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds
• Ability to work in a production environment around machinery and equipment
• Team-oriented and dependable

Responsibilities

• Inspect plastic totes and containers to identify damage
• Repair containers using plastic welding equipment and repair tools
• Patch, weld, and reshape plastic components to restore structural integrity
• Follow work instructions and production guidelines
• Maintain welding tools and all equipment for repairing totes
• Use tablets and Excel spreadsheets to record completed repairs and materials used
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with production and quality teams to ensure repaired containers meet safety and quality standards
