About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Crew Foreman, the Laborer/Operator travels with the micro-surfacing crew to resurface roads in Utah and surrounding states.
Requirements
- Attention and commitment to safety.
- Must be able to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
- Must be willing to work long hours in extreme outdoor temperatures and be able to safely move at least 100 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Class A CDL is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to operate the Micro Surfacing paving equipment, as assigned.
- Squeegee / shovel the micro surface in a manner that will provide a quality finish of the micro surface.
- Maintain a clean work environment by assisting in the cleanup of trash and debris.
- Operate all machinery in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work.
