Key responsibilities will include performing general labor duties such as washing down and conducting routine maintenance on the coke conveyor system and surrounding work areas. You will monitor fluid levels and change rollers as needed throughout the conveyor system. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience by cross-training on the coke loading dock. As a barge handler, you will be tasked with drafting barges using a gauging tape, ensuring accurate measurements are communicated to the PLC operator. Your ability to secure the barge properly while maintaining clear communication with the PLC operator will be essential to our operations.
