We’re hiring a Laborer/Groundman to support mainline aerial fiber and coax work in a hands-on, outdoor construction environment. You’ll work alongside experienced fiber and coax splicers, helping maintain active telecom infrastructure and keeping job sites safe and efficient. What You’ll Do: Assist splicers with mainline aerial fiber and coax work Handle materials, set up job sites, and perform general labor tasks Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Read maps and learn basic construction schematics Operate vehicles and assist with equipment as trained Maintain tools, materials, and organized job sites Follow all safety procedures and NESC standards Climb poles safely (training provided) This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow in the telecom construction field.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to safety and delivering high-quality work
  • Hands-on problem solver who enjoys outdoor, team-based work and long-term projects
  • At least 1 year of experience working outdoors
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record last 3 years (CDL preferred)
  • A great attitude with an eagerness to learn
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
  • Comfortability working at heights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Willing and able to work overtime and needed and ON-Call on a rotating schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Practical experience in aerial telecom construction or similar field, preferred
