About The Position
Performs various unskilled tasks that are associated with heavy highway asphalt milling and paving construction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Valid Driver's License with transportation to and from job sites.
Nice To Haves
- Previous heavy highway paving construction experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
- Receive daily instruction from the project foreman and/or superintendent.
- Shoveling, raking, and spreading of stone and asphalt millings.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the jobsite and all designated milling and paving areas as required.
- Assist other milling and paving crew members as needed.
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.
