Operates forklift to load and unload totes from chemical fill stations; loading and unloading of flatbed trucks; assist in batch making and quality checking; operate tote fill stations; general maintenance tasks. Must be able to work outdoors at times and be able to work in hot/cold conditions as weather changes

Need to ensure proper handling of totes as they load and unload fill stations; will also stage empty totes for later use
Will be responsible for interacting with driver's delivery of raw materials, unloading and loading trucks, collecting bills of lading.
Will assist Production Manager with collection of samples from raw material and finished product and back up Quality Manager with testing as needed.
Operate fill stations and manual addition of dry ingredients
Perform basic maintenance and preventative maintenance on valves, pumps, motors, etc.
Perform basic troubleshooting of processing equipment
Daily Housekeeping of plant including sweeping, mopping, disposal of trash, etc.
Meet or exceed company safety standards
Adhere to all CEMEX rules and regulations at all times and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
Practice 5S throughout plant

High School Diploma preferred; or equivalent
1 yr. Production experience required
1 yr. Forklift experience preferred, but not required
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Effective communication skills
Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
Must pass DOT physical to include back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen

1 yr. Forklift experience preferred, but not required
High School Diploma preferred; or equivalent
