About The Position

At Techcyte, we are building SaaS solutions for microscopy testing using artificial intelligence (AI), including computer vision and deep machine learning. Lab Techs are a critical part of our day-to-day operation in our lab and assist engineering & product management with laboratory support to develop world-class machine-learning products for medical, environmental, and veterinary markets. This position is at the Orem, UT laboratory so the candidate needs to live close enough to Orem to commute. This position is part-time and the candidate would work approximately 20 hours per week. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm. The candidate will primarily focus on Techcyte’s Environmental vertical, working to prepare and process air quality samples for home inspectors.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail, especially with repetitive tasks
Good organization and record-keeping skills
Must be able to commute to the office in Orem, Utah
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to work collaboratively within a team and across disciplines
Experience working in a lab preferred (ie. safety, sample preparation, experience with light microscopes, etc.)
College lab experience is acceptable
