About The Position
American Molecular Laboratories is a dynamic medical laboratory and biotechnology company specializing in molecular assay research and development, as well as diagnostic testing services in infectious diseases and toxicology. We are seeking highly motivated, detail-oriented Laboratory Technologists/Technicians to join our growing testing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- Working knowledge of biological sample preparation, analysis, data interpretation, and reporting
- Flexibility to work day and evening shifts, including Saturday rotations
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with molecular testing is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform daily specimen accessioning and analytical testing in accordance with established laboratory protocols
- Execute routine quality control (QC) procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation
- Participate in proficiency testing programs and maintain accurate competency assessment records
- Support method development and validation studies as needed
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of consumables and reagents
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
