About The Position
The Lab technician is responsible for providing accurate and reliable testing of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and environmental monitoring in support of an ISO 9001-certified facility. It works closely with operations to ensure the production of high-quality, specification-compliant products at optimal rates, while upholding the plant's safety, environmental, and health standards. The role requires experience using laboratory instrumentation, particularly gas chromatography with Agilent gas chromatographs and ChemStation software. Additional responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment and supplies to support efficient operations, certifying material releases to customers, maintaining quality records, and conducting quality and environmental audits. This position is critical to the quality department and may include additional duties to meet the facility's quality and compliance objectives.
