Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with small vials, test tubes, and delicate laboratory equipment.
• Basic algebraic skills for laboratory calculations.
• Ability to read and follow established protocols and SOPs.
• Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Execute various entry-level laboratory duties to ensure customer satisfaction and timely reporting of data.
• Gather materials needed for sample preparation and analysis.
• Handle sample receipt, login, storage, and disposal.
• Prepare necessary standards, solutions, and media for sample analyses.
• Set up and operate basic laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Perform routine laboratory maintenance, including cleaning and sterilization of glassware.
• Accurately record observations and data in logs and notebooks.
• Maintain up-to-date equipment records and logs.
• Perform administrative functions such as filing, photocopying, and data entry into computerized LIMS.
• Comply with and promote safety and quality programs.
