About the position
The Quality Lab Technician at Honeywell plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of products through various lab testing and analysis. This position requires a skilled technician who can operate lab equipment and collaborate with the quality engineering team to analyze test results and recommend process improvements. The role involves working in a dynamic environment with a rotating schedule of day and night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform lab runs on acid samples to assess their quality and composition.
- Operate and maintain GC's (Gas Chromatographs) and ICP's (Inductively Coupled Plasma) machines to conduct tests on pH levels and other chemical properties.
- Collaborate with the quality engineering team to analyze test results and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a quality or chemical lab.
- Proficiency in conducting lab tests and operating lab equipment.
- Comfortable attending and completing a first responder course on the job, and able to perform first aid if necessary.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Lab-Works software or similar laboratory information management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing data.
- Attention to detail.
