About The Position

The Laboratory Technician I is an entry-level role responsible for performing routine laboratory tests and analyses to support manufacturing operations. This position ensures that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet established quality and safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and accurate documentation.

Requirements

Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a Science related field preferred
18 years or older
Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic math.

Nice To Haves

Experience in laboratory work preferred
Enrolled in an accredited college degree program focusing on a Science related field

Responsibilities

Receiving, labeling and safely storing samples to be tested
Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and report
Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the results
Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results
Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample
Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment
Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs
Staying current on technical and scientific advances in their field
Sample and test materials for quality control and quality assurance.
Conduct chemical testing procedures while monitoring compliance with environmental regulations.
Analyze statistical data to identify trends and improve processes.
Assist in laboratory technical analyses for chemical production
Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and results.
