About The Position

Our laboratory in Maryland Heights, Missouri provides organic chemistry testing specializing in investigative analytical chemistry.â¯ Examples of this includes evaluating the label claims of consumer products, reverse engineering pharmaceuticals/nutritional supplements, contaminant identification, determining sources of off odors/flavors/colors, extractables and leachables of consumer electronics, testing medical devices and much, much more. We looking for a Laboratory Technicians with a focus on Sample Preparation.â¯ The skills and responsibilities include: Use the following instruments/techniques: Balances, pH meters, preparation of standard, reagent, and mobile phase solutions, preparation of dilutions, handling of volumetric glassware, centrifugation, lyophilization, and similar techniques. Perform the following types of testing / skills with minimal supervision: Handling volumetric glassware, recording test observations, preparing dilutions of/or reagents, samples, and standards, pH measurement, titrations, and similar skills. This role is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) therefore all accepted applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR: U.S. Person is a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Requirements

BS degree in Chemistry with 0-1 years of applicable experience
Work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Laboratory Health & Safety.
Excellent organization skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR: U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
