We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as Laboratory Technician. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • Strong interest in laboratory work and a desire to pursue a career in life sciences or diagnostic products.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory tasks, including preparing samples, conducting tests, and recording results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Lift and handle materials and equipment, with a maximum weight of up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for extended periods as required by various laboratory tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Filling, labeling, and shrinking of custom chemical orders + stock chemical items. (Paraformaldehyde, Glutaraldehyde, buffers, stains, and fixatives)
  • Maintaining proper paperwork by following company lot # and expiration procedures.
  • Maintaining equipment throughout the day. (cleaning of all used beakers + filling apparatus)
  • Assisting in the operation of lab equipment. (ampoule filler / sealer, ampoule printer, and shrinking machines)
  • Follows all safety guidelines with the use of company supplied PPE.
