About The Position

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine analytical testing and quality control procedures on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role supports production operations by ensuring compliance with internal specifications and regulatory standards. Laboratory Technicians work in a 24-hour rotating shift environment and may be assigned to specific labs such as the Kynar or Forane Laboratory.

Requirements

Minimum of four (4) semesters of college-level chemistry or related science field.
Ability to perform routine lab tests and operate standard lab equipment.
Physical fitness and ability to work in a plant environment.
Willingness to work rotating shifts and respond to call-ins as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine analyses using standardized laboratory methods.
Maintain accurate records of test results and report deviations.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Perform environmental sampling and product testing as assigned.
Support production by providing timely analytical data.
Participate in ISO 9000 quality system compliance.
Assist in training and temporary coverage across lab areas as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE including long sleeve work shirts and ANSI-approved safety shoes and glasses.
