About The Position

Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions. Job Description: Collect, label, and process blood, urine, and other biological specimens. Perform routine and specialized testing, including CBCs, differential counts, coagulation tests, and other hematologic studies. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment. Record and analyze test results accurately; communicate critical values to providers promptly. Maintain accurate documentation of test results, quality control logs, and equipment maintenance. Ensure lab tests are conducted in accordance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards. Assist with inventory control and ordering of lab supplies. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the laboratory space.
