Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Cleanroom Laboratory Technician to specialize in Liquid Particle Count (LPC) testing for a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Training will be provided on the job for all LPC operations, maintenance, and data interpretation. This role requires strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, adherence to cleanroom protocols, and effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and reliable results. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, ideal for individuals looking to build skills in a cleanroom laboratory setting and grow within a dynamic and innovative work environment. The hours for this position are Sun-Thurs, 10pm-6:30am.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.
  • No prior LPC or cleanroom experience required — full training provided on the job.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently once trained.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Liquid Particle Count (LPC) testing on critical parts according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Learn to interpret LPC data and assist in preparing accurate reports for internal review and customer submission.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all testing processes.
  • Receive training to maintain, clean, and troubleshoot LPC equipment to ensure reliable performance.
  • Safely handle chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste following SDS and good laboratory practices.
  • Focus on safety, ensuring equipment, tools, and laboratory instruments are in proper working condition and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks are completed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, production leadership, quality, and engineering teams.
  • Assist in processing qualification jobs and supporting ICOA (Incoming Cleanliness of Assemblies) to meet cleanliness and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in FileMaker, JIRA, and other required databases for process tracking and safety logs.
  • Support local logistics tasks, including pickups, deliveries, and coordination with external fulfillment partners.
  • Help monitor product flow to ensure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts.
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned by the Lab Manager.
