Position Summary Cleaning glassware for raw materials, finished pharmaceutical, and biological products in accordance with established procedures. Maintain strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs), Company Quality Standards, and FDA/EU regulatory guidelines. The chemistry glassware washer plays a critical role in supporting laboratory operations by ensuring all glassware and reusable lab materials are cleaned, decontaminated, dried, and properly stored according to established scientific, safety and quality standards. This role helps to maintain laboratory efficiency, safety, and compliance by enabling scientists and technicians to work with clean and reliable glassware each day. Adhere to schedules to manage a high volume of critical work while upholding the integrity/cleanliness of the area. Follow all policies and procedures related to the handling of glassware and proper storage of all related items. Communicate effectively with lead analysts and team members to support collaborative and efficient laboratory operations. Hours: 1st shift. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Competent using Window-based applications.
  • Experience in an analytical testing laboratory, specifically with glassware processing .
  • Excellent Organization, Verbal and Written Communication skills, teamwork, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of laboratory dishwashers, drying ovens, and other cleaning equipment
  • Inspect glassware for cleanliness, defects, and damage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of glassware washing area and glassware storage areas within the labs.
  • Oversee inventory of glassware and notify management of restocking needs.
  • Assist with chemical waste disposal.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness withing each lab and equipment.

  • Complete documentation of activities
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), CGMPs, Company Quality Standards and FDA/EU Guidelines.

  • Communicate effectively with lead analysts and colleagues.
