About The Position

Position Summary : The Laboratory Technician is responsible for various support tasks throughout the laboratory assigned on an as-needed basis. Sample preparation, glassware cleaning, and sample disposal are typical functions. The ideal candidate shall be a detail-oriented team-player and able to multi-task. Candidate should also have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• AA, AS, or BS in science or related field
• Basic laboratory experience preferred but not required
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Responsibilities

• Extract/Digest environmental samples with organic solvent or Acid
• Operate pipettors, balances, and/or graduated cylinders to measure samples volumes and weights
• Prepare standards
• Maintain scientific logbooks
• Follow all Eurofins Standard Operating Procedures
