We are currently searching for Laboratory Technician Extern. This is an unpaid externship. You will gain real-world experience in a variety of day-to-day analytical and physical testing laboratory responsibilities. As a Laboratory Technician Extern, you will take on tasks such as:

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in material science, chemistry, engineering or other related discipline
Willingness to work with strong odors and messy materials
Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
Interest in applied science
Reliable transportation
Near distance vision, color vision
Ability to safely lift 40 or more pounds, feel textures, wear respiratory protection, and stand for long periods of time
Ability to type, write, speak, see, and hear with or without modification/reasonable accommodation
