About The Position

In this role responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Prepare, titrate, and standardize analytical reagents and solutions according to established protocols. Oversee the proper classification and routing of analyzed samples and chemical waste to designated disposal streams in compliance with safety regulations. Manage laboratory supplies and inventory levels, ensuring critical stock is maintained and supply rooms are audit ready. Facilitate the procurement process by entering, receiving, and verifying orders for laboratory consumables and equipment. Execute routine calibrations and performance verifications (PV) on analytical instrumentation to ensure data integrity. Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current best practices and maintain regulatory compliance. Shift/Hours: Sunday – Wednesday; 6:00am-4:30pm.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science discipline and 2+ year’s experience in the Life Science industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years experience in the Life Science industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working independently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and LIMS systems.
  • Experience completing quality documentation and following GDP.
