About The Position

The Laboratory Tech Associate, under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, is responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology and microbiology to provide information for diagnosis and treatment of disease. The associate must be able to perform routine maintenance of equipment and be familiar with federal requirements in regards to quality control, Medicare compliance and HIPAA.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological, Chemical or Physical Sciences preferred
• Knowledge of medical terms
• Excellent verbal, written and clerical skills
• Complete 3 month on the job training program
• Familiarity of department policies and procedures
• Able to meet physical demands required by ADA
