About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for providing quality customer oriented laboratory services including specimen collection, specimen processing and related specialized procedures, and service to effectively communicate information to users. Performs Phlebotomy, EKGs, and other related duties. Laboratory Support Technician also assist with providing training and guidance to less experienced laboratory support technicians.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of Phlebotomy, EKG, and/or specimen processing experience preferred
• Microbiology planting, plating and accessioning

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP) preferred
