About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time days in the Cytology Lab at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. (0800-1630) As a laboratory support technician duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff and/or pathologists. Performs instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures Sentara is focused on living its mission — to improve health every day. Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Biology or Chemistry
• No certification or licensure required
