About The Position

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a temporary (3 - 6 mos.) Laboratory / Administrative Support to join our team! Laboratory Support / Administrative Support personnel is responsible for receiving and opening sample packages from walk-in clients, FedEx, other mailing services and retrieving samples from drop box. Must ensure that all samples are logged in in a timely, efficient and accurate manner and perform the quality control of projects that are sent to the laboratory for analysis. Must effectively interact with clients and answer phone calls coming into the laboratory and forward them to the appropriate personnel as necessary. The personnel must maintain an open line of communication with Client Relation Executives, Analysts and other management staff.

Requirements

HS diploma or G.E.D.
Good typewriting skills, over 50 WPM
Good communication skills
Must have the ability to multitask
Attention to detail experience
Experience working in a fast paced, production, retail or food service environment
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Sample Receiving preferred

Responsibilities

Receive and open packages
Login of all samples in a timely manner
Label all samples
QC of samples/projects prior to sending into the laboratory
Interact with clients and answer incoming phone calls
Report status information to clients
Communicate with clients for clarification of analysis requested
Forward specific project related information to the appropriate Client Relation Executive
Responsible for maintaining the necessary supplies for sample receiving
Other related duties as assigned
