In this position as the Laboratory Supervisor you will optimize your clinical laboratory and Blood Bank expertise in supervising the technical and support staff while assisting the lab manager in the regulatory, personnel, technical and financial activities of the lab. This is a full time day shift position. Location is our NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital campus in Cortlandt Manor, Westchester County, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience or 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with Master’s degree or 1 years of experience with a MD, DO or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical or biological science
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent curriculum
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York Education Department
- Meets all requirements of the New York State Department of Education for a Laboratory Supervisor
- Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
