About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Laboratory Team Coordinator for the Core Lab. This position is full-time and requires working the night shift, totaling 40 hours per week. The Laboratory Team Coordinator will assume responsibility and accountability for daily operations, coordination of work, quality service, and team member supervision in the assigned area. The role involves facilitating staff management in a multi-skilled, multi-functional environment, coordinating quality improvement activities, and resolving customer service issues. The coordinator will evaluate staff performance, participate in work activities, and contribute to the lab's success through effective work coordination and resource management.
