Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Equivalent Degree required
  • MLS or ASCP credentials required
  • State of Nevada certification as a General Supervisor will be required
  • Minimum of 6 years lab experience, blood bank experience strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements and the visual and auditory acuity to use laboratory equipment and instrumentation safely and effectively and to evaluate data accurately is required
  • State of Nevada General Supervisor (within 6 months of hire date if not already licensed)

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for directing all technical aspects of the Laboratory and will formulate technical goals, establish standards of practice, and recommend policy that is in compliance with all regulatory agencies and corporate guidelines

  • You will be responsible for day to day supervision of the laboratory technical staff
